October Trip to North Carolina!

A few weeks ago (yes I am a little late in posting this), Tessa and I were blessed with the opportunity to travel to North Carolina to visit our cousins! We were hoping for some cooler fall weather, but I guess North Carolina did not get the memo. Tessa had met her Aunt Merri and cousin Gracie before, but not her cousins Luke and Ben or her Uncle Jeff. Right from the start, the boys made us feel like we were at home. They were very good with Tessa and were always very concerned for her well being. Gracie is lucky to have such great big brothers!





Tessa is used to wrestling with her cousin Jack, so Gracie was taken back with how rough Tessa can be. Tessa was just so excited to play with Gracie, she couldn't help getting overly excited :-)




I think Tessa won her over :-)




We got to visit the Morgan's favorite park. Luke and Ben do such a good job as a big brother to Gracie, they also took good care of Tessie!



We were lucky there there were enough swings for all of the kiddos!





















What would parents do without strollers???





We got to see some funny animals at the zoo! We really liked the polar bear that was playing with his floating toy! He looked like he was having as much fun as Tessa does when she plays at bath time!

























Tessa got to meet a new doggie pal, Miss Clara. Tessa loves all furry creatures, but I am not sure Clara knew what to do with Miss Tessa :-)

Our last family excursion was to a local pumpkin farm. This was the first tim Tessie had been to a farm. She seemed to enjoy all the outdoor activities. She got to walk through a hay maze, she got to go on a hay ride, and she got to pick out pumpkins with her cousins. Tessa had to leave her pumpkins behind, since they probably wouldn't have fit in her suitcase.

The best part of our trip was the time we got to spend with our North Carolina family! We loved having cousin time and sister time (Mer and Reagan both got their fix!) Thank you Morgans for letting us come visit. We had a great time. Can't wait to play again soon!
