Three Wonderful Years

Today marks three wonderful years of marriage for Adam and I. We are so blessed that we were brought together. God has truly blessed our lives. We are thankful for each day we have together, and we look forward to the many more years we have and all that they will bring.

Christmastime and Tessa at 4 Months

It is hard to imagine that Christmas is only a few days away. It was Christmas Eve 2008 that we were blessed with the knowledge of our little one on the way. We knew Christmas would never be the same!

We had so many photos this month that we put them all in a slide show. In this slide show you will see Uncles using Tessa as a Christmas ornament when our family went looking for a tree, cozy evenings by the fire, the makeshift stroller Adam put together using his office chair and her bouncer, our family evening out at Glendale Glitters were we got to bundle all the kiddos us, and lots of tummy time. You will also see pictures of Tessa's baby dedication. On December 20th, Adam and I brought her to be dedicated to the Lord. We are committed as parents to make sure that Tessa loves the Lord and is raised with Him in mind. This was a special moment for us and we were very happy to be able to have so much family there to support us.

Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy the photos! We look forward to our first Christmas morning as a family of 3!

Update: In a previous post we mentioned how our little niece Grace was being tested for Cystic Fibrosis. Well, she met with a specialist at UNC and the test showed that she is only a carrier. We are so thankful for these test results. Praise God!

Prayer request

Please be in prayer for our little niece Gracie Morgan. Gracie will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and one of her newborn screening tests came back saying there was a good chance that she had Cystic Fibrosis. She is going in for more tests, and our family is fervently praying that the tests come back that she is only a carrier. We are praying for her parents that they would have the strength to handle whatever God puts in their path. We love you baby Gracie and can't wait to meet you!

Tessa Talk

Our sweet Tessa is adjusting well to the few hours mommy is gone for work. Each day it is harder to leave her but I know she is in good hands. Her aunties Raleigh, Gentry and Kamie have all been taking really good care of her while Grammy is visiting our new cousin Gracie in North Carolina.
I love watching her sleep. Here are a few cute shots of our little angel sleeping.
At Thanksgiving, we were blessed with spending lots of time with family and friends. Here we caught her on video finding her voice while our friend Carlos spoke to her in Spanish. Also some video of her Aunt Raleigh making her laugh. Tessa already loves her aunts and uncles so much, and they all have a special way of bringing out our joyful Tessa.
