Recently, our family added a new 4 legged canine to the Turley crew. As you might have remembered, we had to say good-bye to our lovable lab Chimi in March. Since then, there has been a pretty big hole in all of our hearts....especially our other doggie Pearl. We were not looking to fill that spot this soon; however, we were blessed to be given a very special new friend who we couldn't resist.
Meet Barnaby!
(Since we brought him home, we have had a few name trials....but Barnaby seems to be the one that is sticking.) Barnaby is a Golden-doodle If you are not familiar with this breed, it is a Golden Retriever and a Poodle mix. This breed of dog is getting to be quite popular for their lovable nature and their soft poodle hair...versus the typical dog "fur". He is so soft!!!
One of the first things he did when we brought him home was crawl into the kid's bean bags. He still loves cuddling in it.
After his first bath....
He already adores the kids....he even thinks they taste pretty good too.
It's hard to really get a good picture of him with all those curls. He does have eyes under there...I promise.
He even helps the kids with their puzzles!
Barnaby has won over all the other pets; however, sometimes Mr. Bingley is not quite sure what to make of this ball of black curls...
We are predicting that Barnaby will be big like his Daddy, who weighs about 80 pounds. We call him our "gentle giant" because he is so mellow and has such a sweet disposition. We are super happy he has finally figured out the doggie door too!
We are so happy to have another sweet doggie for our kids to love and adore!
