This past week we took a vacation to beautiful San Diego, California. Tessa got to experience her first plane ride and did great...most of the time. We arrived in San Diego to find overcast weather that continued the whole trip. We didn't mind, because it was such a break from the 100 degree weather in Phoenix. Auntie Gentry came with us so we could enjoy her while she is home from college. We chose to stay at a hotel that the Kerger kids are familiar with. We stayed at the Dana Inn which is the hotel my parents had us stay at when we are kids. It was so neat, even more then we remembered. (Although Gentry was a little young to remember.) We took walks around the marina, lounged in the hotel pool, visited Seaport Village, and went to the San Diego Zoo which was the first time for all of us (first time for Gentry at any zoo!) Despite the weather we still made it to the beach and enjoyed it. The water was a little chilly, but our little water baby didn't mind. She even got her sea legs going and started walking (with support) on the beach. The rate she is going, we are going to have a walker pretty soon! We wish we could bottle up some of that amazing weather, but alas.....we are home and sweating. Oh well, we hope you enjoy our photos of our trip. Can't wait to do it again!

I SOO love getting these vacation summaries from all of you! Makes me feel like I was there but never had to leave home. Precious pictures...Tessa has already seem so much in her 10 months of life. Glad you all had fun...missed you while you were gone. Love you all, Mom...Gram
