Our new cousin...a few days late!

Last week, our family was blessed with the new addition of a cousin/niece. Krosby Reese Kerger was born at 12:46 AM on January 15th. We were all so happy that she made it here safely and was a healthy baby.



This week was a busy week, so Tessa didn't get to meet her new cousin until last night. Tessa loves babies, but her attention span does not last. I am sure when Krosby is older, she will be able to chase after all her older cousins. We will have to work on showing our love for tiny babies in a gentle way for when baby brother or sister comes along.



After awhile, Tessa found something a little more exciting then her new cousin....STAIRS!



We are so happy to have another family member. Congratulations Jake and Shelby!

Tessa's New Shirt!

We recently found out that our little Tessa is going to "bee" a big sister! We are very excited to share the news of our little one growing ever so slowly. Tessa can't wait for him or her to come out and play....or in Tessa's eyes, wrestle.




Our baby's due date is August 7, 2011. We are praying that this baby grows strong and healthy over the next few months. Grow baby grow!

Meeting Santa!

This year Tessa was able to meet Santa for the first time. Last year Mommy and Daddy didn't want to brave the mall to take a picture, but this year it was worth it. Aunt Katie, Uncle Nick and Cousin Mia came too. Here is a picture of Tessa "chillin" before she encounters him. Can't you see that she is bursting with enthusiasm??

Tessa didn't know what to make of this weird guy. Poor Mia didn't seem to like him though. Oh well, we got the pic!

Finding Fall

Tessa has had trouble finding fall this year. She even went to North Carolina looking for it. Unfortunately it was not there as well. Finally, on a cold day in December, it appeared in AZ. The colored leaves appeared and began to fall in the Kerger backyard. We quickly captured a few moments of Tessa enjoying the brief season....soon it will be gone...POOF!

We knows how beautiful fall can be. Maybe next year we will find it earlier????

Precious Christmas Video!

Most people know how much I love Christmas. Well this video brought me to tears. I wanted to share it with anyone that would watch. Hopefully you will squeeze your babies a little tighter tonight. Be blessed with your family this Christmas season!

Rocks!

Tessa has recently discovered rocks! She is fascinated by them and spends a lot of time looking for them and analyzing them. Maybe she will grow up to be a geologist, who knows??? (Oh, and she also discovered chili peppers too.)

Tessa 15 Months!

Our Tessie is growing up so fast. One of our favorite past times is to just sit back and watch what funny things Tessa says and does. Here are a few short clips of some of those moments. (Don't worry, it is just water.)

Tessa knows she doesn't need a driver's license to drive a golf cart! :-)



On weekends, Tessa doesn't know to let Mommy and Daddy sleep in a little. Her first priority is to get up and go make sure it is morning outside. She has figured out how to get out through the doggie door, so no help is needed from our end.
